The value for money at this hotel is exceptional. With reasonable prices and attention to detail, it's a great choice for a short trip. The location near the Sirkeci tramway station, close to all historical places and the center of the old Town, is unbeatable. The hotel staff provides excellent service, and the basic amenities in the rooms, whether with 2 or 3 beds, are all you need. And let's not forget about the breakfast, which is delicious and satisfying.
The only minor flaw was the noise from other customers on the floor, but overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the area.

excellent location minutes walk from Sirkeci train station, easy to get from/to airport to the hotel, its located just at the back of Sirkeci Train Station. Minutes walk to the boat to take you to the Asian side and you just pay 1,75trl which is faster than taking a cab. The staff at the hotel are very pleasant and very helpfull, i definitelly will go back again, i really enjoyed my stay there. Also the rooms has own aircon so even if hot outside the room always can be set to cooler, i love the easy access to everything with in walk distance.

The staff are particularly helpful and friendly and it is one street from the tram and 5 mins from the waterfront, surrounded by restaurants in all directions. Breakfast is good european. Our room was newly decorated and very clean. Quite noisy as we were on the first landing near the entrance. This was not really a problem to us.
The smell from the drains in our ensuite bathroom was very bad and we would cover them to keep the smell out. We did not complain to the hotel as this is a problem we encounter in a lot of foreign countries where the plumbing is not to nz standard.

This hotel is situated in a fantastic location, very close to all the historical sites and attractions. It is conveniently near the Sirkeci tramway station, making it easy to explore the famous Eminonu area and the rest of the city. Additionally, the hotel is close to the ferry terminal, which is perfect for those wanting to take a scenic trip along the Bosphorus.
Everything was great, no improvements needed.

First the location - very close to all main places of interest, and is close to ferryboats and tram. Can be easily reached from the airport. Second is that it provides all you need - clean rooms, hi speed wifi, breakfast, and... electricity. The last night of my stay the electricity was turned off in the city area around the hotel, but the hotel had its own generator (other hotels in the area didn't have). So I had no problems at all.
The breakfast could be more diverse (at least I'd wish fried aggs).

The bathroom was very pokey and there was sometimes an unpleasant smell coming from the drains

The hotel is conveniently located near the tourist attractions such as the famous Spice Market and the Galata bridge, and it is very easy to get around. the center of the old town of Istanbul is not far away from it, and the Sirkeci tramway station is a stone's throw away, which is very convenient.
The room was quite small and the breakfast was limited, and there were not many tables available.

I had a great stay at Hotel Akcinar. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the tramway station, making it easy to explore the city. The rooftop had a stunning sea view, and the daily room service kept everything clean and tidy. Even though I encountered a few issues, like a leaking air conditioner and a non-working refrigerator, the hotel staff apologized and did their best to rectify the situation. I would recommend this hotel for its convenience and hospitality.

Location was perfect , very close to the tram station (Sircici station) Hardly 100 meters away, lots of eating places and shops nearby, the view of bosphorus sea from the room and the terrace was breathtaking, the staff was very friendly and helpful especially Mr.Othman.
Boring and same breakfast everyday, there was hardly anything to eat over there, I wish they could add fried eggs in the menu.

Everything! The hotel is perfect. The staff is extremely polite and speak English. It is a very convenient location, near of the tram, train station and port. Close to all attractions, convenient for traveling to Taksim Square. Just in the center, but on a quiet street. Breakfast is good, especially breads, are prepared in the hotel. The rooms are not large but the beds are very comfortable. Every day cleaning and changing towels. Towels are fluffy and smell wonderful. I never would have chosen another hotel! Excellent relation price / service.
